Overall the characters were great but I would have liked some more info about the side characters, a lot were introduced but so briefly.‘It’s no wonder Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon are fans of Jasmine Guillory – she writes the sexiest and smartest romances. I think Anna’s best friend Penny or her manager Simon have a shot. Particularly the steam, she does such a good job with that.Ĭharacters: 2/3 – I think my favourite part of JG’s books is guessing who will be the star of a future book. This book had a little bit less of her signature food obsession which I missed but it was still great.
Writing: 2/2 – As usual I loved JG’s writing. Anna and Ben had great chemistry and I really enjoyed the ending! No complaints!
It was super cute and very steamy and sexy. Plot: 3/3 – I honestly really enjoyed the whole story. It was fun to see old characters and the set up for Anna and Ben’s story was cute. They want to keep things casual but then Anna proposes he be her fake boyfriend for some publicity events and he agrees. They get along really well and after Ben helps her with a crisis they end up together. They meet while on set for a commercial Ben is in charge of and Anna is the star.
